Overview
This King 2B Liberty Tenor Trombone, built in the early 1970s, retained its original parts, lacquer, and case. The instrument showed normal cosmetic lacquer wear consistent with age but no dents or structural issues.
Before sale, it received fresh shop service at The Brass Exchange including chemical cleaning and slide adjustment. The inner slide tubes showed no chrome loss, and the handslide operated smoothly and reliably.
The King 2B is a long-established small-bore tenor design known for dependable mechanics and familiar American jazz-tenor proportions.
