Yamaha Tenor Trombone Xeno Model YSL-882U SN 001697. Pre-owned Large bore tenor .547 with 8.5" yellow brass bell. This model is not usually available in the U.S. is primarily Japan and Europe. Is the same bell, valve, and slide as the YSL-882O model. The valve section wrap is a traditional wrap similar to a standard Bach 42B. Guys that play on these love the valve sections, Yamaha knows how to make a great valve. There are no structural defects on this horn. No dents or dings or signs of previous damage. It just has less than average appearance in the lacquer. Some is missing and other areas it is spotty, but of course that does not take away from the playability of this horn. It would be a great large bore tenor for anyone looking for a pro level Yamaha at a lower price point. Is ideal for band & orchestra, produces a huge beautiful sound. Includes a shaped Bach, hard shell case, also a case type usually only found in Japan.
