Yamaha YSL-354 Trombone SN 683818 Pre-owned, adult used. This is the top rated Yamaha student trombone made in Japan. There is a lower level YSL-200 model, but those are not made in the same factory in Japan. This is considered the gold standard in student level trombones. Has an 8" bell and .500 bore slide. Is in perfect playing condition, near perfect lacquer, excellent slide. If you were to buy a student a brand new one today for over $1500, it would probably look like this after one year with regular use, provided that it doesn't get dented up. This one is in excellent shape, has a great slide, is super clean, and has an easy to manage old style case. Includes mouthpiece, and slide lubricant. If I had a student starting out today, this would be my top pick.
