REYNOLDS

Reynolds Argenta Medium Bore .520 straight tenor.  Has 8.5” solid nickel silver bell, lightweight nickel silver hand slide.  Made in the 1960’ in Cleveland, OH.  All original parts and lacquer.  Has had full shop service, including chemical bath.  No dents or dings.  This trombone is gig ready.  No slide issues or additional repairs/set-up needed. It reminds me a lot of the Olds Opera, but just less bore size.  Solid nickel plays with extra clarity compared to yellow, gold, or red bass.  Overall timbre is more dark that brass, with an emphasis on low and high overtones resulting in more clarity and forward projection compared to standard yellow brass.  This is an ideal all around tenor for most styles of music, concert band, small group, jazz soloist.  Takes small shank tenor mouthpiece, not included.  Protec case included.  In-stock for immediate delivery.
