Holton Stratodyne Model 67 Vintage 1955.  Holton was making trombones going back to 1900.  This one was made 55 years into the companies existence. Has a 7.5" gold brass bell, hand engraved, and lightweight nickel silver handslide with .485.  Has had full shop service with chemical bath. Has also had a professional handslide set-up, tube straightening, de-stressed, outer tube inner surface polishing, is as good as it gets now.  No dents or dings, inner and outer slide tubes are in excellent shape.  Has very good slide alignment and plays fantastic.  Previous dent work on bell flare, no issues. All original lacquer, in very good shape.  There has always been something special about the combination of gold brass bell paired with a nickel silver handslide.  It produces a very warm yet vibrant sound, with lot's of depth.  The horn plays multi-dimensional and will do what you ask it to.  Great sound for lead/jazz/solo.  Many famous jazz guys loved these Holton's, including Buddy Morrow.  Not many of them become available becasue usually the guys that own them are real players and they know they have something special.  This one is available now.  Comes with orignal case.  In-stock for immediate delivery.
