GREENHOE

Greenhoe GC2-Y Custom Small Bore Tenor Trombone. Slightly Used, perfect condition, no flaws, fantastic slide.  Greenhoe-Schilke Chicago.  This is the model that Alex Iles in LA proto-typed for Greenhoe.   Is a gorgeous and easy playing .500 Bore Jazz/Lead/Solo Tenor.  Has 8" Yellow Brass Bell, Medium-lightweight.  Hand slide is nickel silver straight bore with yellow brass end crook.  Has all of the fine detail work as in all of the other Greenhoe customs.  We love the ribbed ferrels and the bottom of the slide.  Gorgeous lacquer and engraving.  This horn plays very easily and frankly is hard to put down once you get started.  I don't say that often about any trombone.  What I like is that the pitches are in the right places (hand slide) not much adjusting at all across all partials.  Even the D and F above the staff are close to a true 1st position.  You will be delighted at how easy it plays.  Hand slide is sensational.  Overall weight of the instrument is medium.  It is neither too heavy nor too light.  It's just right.  I find that I can push it to the limit without it backing up, even the sound stays consistent at loud dynamics.  The other thing that I noticed is the high D in first, and the High Eb in flat first absolutely sizzle.  Not many small bores do this easily.  This would be a fantastic horn for any pro player or amateur player alike looking to get the best quality American made instrument possible.  Comes with two removable lead pipes, I prefer the slightly longer one.  Schilke Greenhoe Leather hard shell case, back pack style, is light protective and gorgeous.  Does not include mouthpiece.

Includes Factory Warranty.  This Horn will not disappoint.  Plays like a dream.
