The Brass Exchange is an authorized Schilke-Greenhoe trombone dealer.  Simply put, these instruments are sensational.  Gorgeous Look, Incredible sound quality and ease of playability, amazing materials and construction- all parts and assembly done at the Chicago, IL factory.  We have had a lot of pre-owned Greenhoe Tenors here over the years.  These made by Schilke-Greenhoe are every bit as good as the original Gary Greenhoe owned company made instruments.  Personally, I have played both.  In many ways I like the Schilke-Greenhoes even better that the predecessor company made.  The valve section plays flawlessly, most notable is that a 1st position D with both valve in, plays the same as first valve in 5th position.  If feels as free blowing "open" and really sounds the same.

Bass Trombone Technology has come along way over the years.  This one is as good as it gets.  Here are the features:

The Greenhoe GB5 is designed in the tradition of the full-bodied orchestral bass trombones of the mid to late 20th century. Featuring a one-piece bell with soldered rim, the GB5 offers a classic sound with tremendous projection, as well as a quick response and impeccable clarity.
