Benge

Benge 190 Large Bore Tenor Trombone made in the 1980's.  Has had full shop service, including chemical bath, rotor service, handslide optimized.  Has 8.5" yellow brass bell and lightweight brass .547 handslide which takes large shank mouthpiece.  This was Benge's top Large bore tenor.  There is a lot of cross-over in parts between Benge and King Musical Instruments.  Although Benge is not around today, that does not diminish the quality of instruments that they produced.  This horn plays big, dark, and open.  The handslide is about as good as handslide can get.  This valve section plays very open.  Some lacquer wear, one spot on bell about 1 inch in diameter.  Typical of vintage instruments that have been played on.  This one is a great player and would be an excellent first trigger horn for any advancing player.  Case included.  In-stock for immediate delivery.
