Bach

The Bach TB200B is an intermediate step-up trombone with a traditional wrap F-attachment. It features an 8" yellow brass bell and a .525 bore slide designed for small-shank mouthpieces.

In many ways, the TB200B mirrors the specs of the classic Bach 36B — 8" bell, .525 bore — which was once considered the gold standard for orchestral trombones before the late 1950s. While modern symphonic trombones have grown much larger, this size remains an excellent all-around choice. It’s equally at home in concert bands, symphonic ensembles, and jazz band settings, making it a truly versatile step-up instrument.

This example is in super mint condition — barely played, with no dents, dings, or service needs of any kind. Both slide and valve function flawlessly, and the lacquer finish is pristine. Includes the original Bach case and mouthpiece, also in mint condition.

As of 2025, Bach no longer lists the TB200B as a current production model. New examples previously sold in the $3,000 range, making this like-new horn a great opportunity for advancing players at a fraction of the cost.
