Overview
This King 5B Straight Tenor Trombone began life as a 1970s King 5BF and was later converted to a straight tenor configuration by B.A.C. Custom Trombones in Kansas City. The instrument retains its original 9″ yellow brass bell and stock King 5B handslide while incorporating custom aesthetic and structural work.
The B.A.C. modifications include decorative stained-glass style inlay in the tuning slide, custom bracing, and a distinctive patina-style lacquer finish. The trombone remained structurally sound and played reliably following inspection. Case was not included with this instrument.
Custom B.A.C. instruments are known for distinctive appearance and individualized craftsmanship.
