SELMER

Selmer K-Modified 23 Paris Vintage SN 2941. Most likely made in the 1950s, this horn features all original parts and lacquer and has never been damaged or repaired. Itโ€™s a super nice small bore trombone, equipped with a 7" yellow brass bell and a .490 bore standard weight slide. The tone is crisp, focused, and ideal for lead, jazz, or commercial players looking for something a little off the beaten path. All original parts and lacquer.  No major dents or dings, a small ding on the bottom slide end crook, not too bad, but difficult to remove.

We havenโ€™t seen many of these at The Brass Exchange over the past 10 years. The build quality and originality are exceptional, making it a standout option for anyone who typically plays a 2B but wants something with French character and a little extra personality.

Are vintage trombones better than the ones made today? That depends on what youโ€™re afterโ€”but horns like this Selmer K-Modified make a strong case. The craftsmanship, tonal color, and player feedback on these older models have stood the test of time.

Includes a vintage black leather Reunion Blues case, made in San Francisco, in excellent condition with soft interior and classic style. A rare find.
