Conn 36H Alto Trombone. Single-owner instrument, lightly used, and in mint condition. This is one of the nicest examples we’ve seen, about as close to new as you can get — but at a significantly lower price.
It features a 7" yellow brass bell with the darker lacquer finish that Conn used during the 1990s. This lacquer gives the horn a warm, classic appearance, complementing its rich, mellow sound.
The rotor and handslide are in excellent playing condition, with no issues or defects. The slide action is smooth and fast, exactly as expected on a top-quality alto trombone.
There are no service needs to improve appearance or playability; this trombone is ready to perform right out of the case.
A new Conn 36H today sells for over $2,700, making this example an exceptional value for any serious player looking for a versatile alto trombone that works equally well in solo, chamber, or orchestral settings.
Mouthpiece not included.
