Bach

This is a Bach 42B large bore tenor trombone from approximately 2006–2008, owned by a single player and used only for a few years. It represents the long-running traditional design that has made the Bach 42B one of the most enduring and respected professional orchestral trombones in the world.

It features a .547" large bore, 8.5" yellow brass 42 bell, and the familiar standard-weight 42 handslide. The instrument has not had any damage or repairs, which is unusual for its age. Before shipping, it will receive a full chemical bath and shop inspection to ensure it arrives clean, aligned, and ready to play.

The included Bach hard case is a rare export-only model, normally available only in the European and Japanese markets, and is in perfect condition. A mouthpiece is included as well.

This 42B is an excellent choice for any advancing student or returning player ready to step into the world of professional large bore tenor trombones. The 42B’s traditional wrap F-attachment offers a centered, classic Bach response with enough stability for orchestral work while remaining versatile for wind ensemble or solo playing.
