Bach 50A3 Independent Hagmann Bass Trombone

Bach 50A3 Independent Hagmann Valve Bass Trombone, used, excellent condition. This professional-level bass trombone features the classic 9.5" yellow brass Bach 50 bell, known for its powerful, rich tone and excellent projection in orchestral and large ensemble settings. The standard weight 50 handslide is super straight and smooth, providing fast and precise action, and includes a removable press-fit sterling silver Edwards #2 leadpipe β€” a popular upgrade among serious players seeking more openness and flexibility. The Hagmann independent valve system offers free-blowing response and smooth transitions with F and Gb/D tuning, making this setup ideal for advanced performers who demand versatility and efficiency in their playing. There are no prior repairs or damage, and no service needs to improve playability. Minor acid bleed on the bell rim is purely cosmetic and typical on Bach bells from this era. This example came with an Eastman grey case; mouthpiece not included.
