Bach 42B Traditional Wrap | Corporation Era 1976 | Sold Archive

This vintage Bach 42B tenor trombone dates to approximately 1976–1977, during the highly regarded “Corporation Bell” era of Bach production. The bell is clearly stamped “Corporation,” a detail sought after by collectors and serious players alike. Now sold, this listing remains part of our historical archive — helping others researching vintage Bach trombones.

All parts and lacquer are original to the instrument. While the lacquer shows its age and there are signs of previous dent work, the horn was given a full chemical cleaning and adjustment in our shop. The .547 bore handslide received a professional slide setup, ensuring fast and aligned action. Despite the cosmetic wear, this was a solid player, especially attractive to musicians seeking that classic 1970s Bach response.

Included at the time of sale was a non-original Bach wood shell case, plus a mouthpiece and lubricants — ideal for someone looking to explore a true vintage 42B setup without investing in a new instrument.
