These photos remain part of our archive to document the instrument’s condition at the time of sale and the early evolution of our visual presentation standards. This Conn 6H is a late 1960s Elkhart-era model that has been fully cleaned, serviced, and adjusted for optimal playability. What makes this one unique is that it features a 1950s 10H outer slide, which is fully compatible with the 6H but has a slightly different cross brace diameter. The handslide is aligned and smooth, with no chrome loss on the inner tubes — an increasingly rare find.

The horn plays with a tight center and fast response, delivering exactly the kind of brilliance and projection that lead players look for. In the upper register, it screams with clarity and authority, making it a standout choice for big band lead trombone or commercial jazz work. The .500 bore and classic Elkhart bell design contribute to its signature Conn tone: vibrant, direct, and flexible.

No additional service is required. A non-original case is included.
