This S.E. Shires Custom Series TW47JA tenor trombone handslide is the Joe Alessi Signature Model, pre-owned and in excellent condition. It has never been damaged or repaired and is only a few years old. The slide shows only light signs of use and has not been played on heavily. The only lacquer loss is modest, located on one of the grip areas.
Upon arrival, we performed a full professional shop service including chemical bath, water key pad replacement, slide alignment, and a complete mechanical and cosmetic once-over. The result is a slide that performs like new — smooth, quiet, and fully optimized for top-level playing.
The TW47JA slide features:
Standard weight gold brass .547 bore outer tubes
Wide yellow brass end crook (A design variation developed for added stability and core)
