KING

King Silversonic Symphony Large Bore Tenor, Model 1485 SN 417706,  made by H.N. White mid 1960's. This was a nearly ‘closet queen’ condition example that had not been played much.  Never any major damage.  A few dings taken out of tuning slide.  Lacquer is near perfect.  Handslide action is superior.  Has had full shop service and is ready to play out of the box.  This model has the 9" Sterling silver bell, lacquer, with inner bell gold plated.   The nickel silver handslide is .536 bore.  Produces and huge sweet sound characteristic of King,  with lots of energy out front.  Takes large shank mouthpiece, one included.  Original case is in excellent condition.  Would be a great horn for anyone looking to play vintage King, or to add to their collection.  You won't see many 9" Sterling silver bell King Models today.   Super rare instrument in fine condition.
