King 3B Silversonic, 1960's Make, H.N. White Era. This is the classic 3B, sterling silver bell 8" with .508 bore nickel silver slide. This one has been restored, but not overhauled with lacquer. The bell section is silver unlacquered. A lot of Silversonic players prefer unlacquered and no inner gold wash, this makes them play more lively. This one has an enormous sound, like penetrating. You can hear it from every direction. Handslide has just had a pro set-up. Tubes straightened and polished inside, bracing has been de-stressed and rebuilt, encrook pulled and reset. It is an amazing slide and plays perfectly. The bell is unlacquered. The rest of the horn is in fact all original lacquer, and has aged quite well. Is a gorgeous vintage 3B. This would be a great horn for any level player- pro jazz guys included. Original case is included, and functional, but is in need of repair and clean-up.
