King 2B Silvertone SN 224496, Vintage 1939. All original parts and lacquer. Sterling Silver Bell. Pre-dates Silversonic name. Originally H.N. White named the sterling silver models Silvertone but later changed to Silversonic because of a copyright issue with a telephone maker. This one is an original 2B Sterling Silver Silvertone. Gorgeous crisp hand engraved. Is an outstanding player. No damage ever to the bell section. Handslide has had work, alignment and dent removal. It is still a good slide. Would be an excellent lead or jazz horn for anyone looking to play vintage King. Comes with a 1990's Anniversary case, excellent condition.
