This Jet-Tone Urbie Green Model D trombone mouthpiece comes from a professional player estate collection and is in excellent pre-owned condition. It has been carefully cleaned and polished here at the shop and is ready to play.
Jet-Tone produced artist-model mouthpieces in relatively small batches beginning in the 1960’s. This Model D was designed for jazz trombonist Urbie Green, whose smooth legato style and warm commercial sound influenced generations of players. Jet-Tone trombone mouthpieces are less common than their trumpet counterparts and are interesting finds when they appear in estate collections.
This example shows only light cosmetic wear consistent with careful use and presents very well overall.
