Equipped with original patent-pending Thayer valves (F/Gb/D tuning), this setup offers excellent balance, fast release, and an even feel between valve combinations. It mirrors the current B454 model in function and layout. The bell is a #1277 9.5" “Red” gold brass bell, producing a dark, warm core sound with impressive projection and control. The slide is an early 1990s Bach 50 single bore (.562) model, modified with a collar and three removable leadpipes. The slide is flawless in feel and appearance. The original Edwards/Getzen hard case is included and in excellent condition. According to the original owner, the case never left his house — he used a lightweight Protec case for transport, which is also available (shipping cost only).
