Offered here is a Doug Elliott LB Series bass trombone mouthpiece, pre-owned and in excellent condition. This modular setup includes two interchangeable rims:
Silver Rim – LB MW 114: Based on the Schilke 60, it features a flatter 29mm contour, similar in size to some Bach 1G rims.
Gold-Plated Rim – LB MW 112: Similar to a Schilke 59, slightly larger than a Bach 1¼G at 28.5mm.
The cup is an LB M, known for providing the depth and tone of a Schilke 60 or Bach 1G, but with more core and improved upper register clarity. Paired with the M8 shank, this setup is optimized for bass trombones- all around use leaning more towards orchestra and symphonic, offering excellent response and tonal balance.
