Conn Director Model 22H. This is a 1990s U.S.-made student model trombone, nearly identical to the King 606. Features an 8" yellow brass bell and .500 bore handslide—classic specs for beginner models.
This instrument has undergone a complete shop service here at The Brass Exchange, including a chemical bath and full slide alignment. The original slide end crook was damaged, so it has been professionally replaced. The result: smooth slide action, proper playing response, and excellent alignment.
Among U.S.-made student horns, the 22H is one of our favorites. All slide positions are correctly spaced and it plays effortlessly, making it perfect for younger students in 4th or 5th grade. The included lightweight case is easy to carry, and the horn’s ergonomics suit smaller hands well.
