Band directors across the United States continue to endorse this model as one of the most reliable choices for serious players.

This example features an 8.5-inch rose brass bell, finished in hand-polished raw brass. The raw brass exterior shows beautifully and allows the instrument to resonate with a warm, complex tone. The horn has never been damaged, and all parts are original. It is built with the standard F-attachment wrap and a .547 bore handslide for large shank mouthpieces.

The instrument has undergone a complete shop service here at The Brass Exchange, which included:

  • Full chemical bath

  • Rotor service (casing polished and re-strung)

  • Hand slide adjustment for superior alignment

The slide has very straight tubes, with no inner plating defects, and is playing at a professional level. The horn feels balanced, responsive, and has the classic Conn warmth and breadth of sound.

This trombone comes with a new Protec case. A mouthpiece is not included.
