CONN

Conn 88H Late 1990's Make, SN 135931/R7725 with New Conn Hard Woodshell Case. Classic 88H Model with 8.5" Rose Brass Ball and .547 Bore handslide for large shank mouthpiece.   Has had full shop service including chemical bath, rotor service, slide adjust and full once over.  This horn plays proper, excellent valve and slide.  All original parts and lacquer.  Some lacquer wear spots on hand grip areas, mainly lower cork barrel.  Has minor acid bleed around parts of bell rim. This will not worsen over time.   Inner slide tubes are perfectly straight and aligned well, no plating loss.  The horn is dent free as well.  Conn introduced this model in the 1950's and the overall specs and design is basically the same, except now bell rim is soldered, and mouthpiece leadpipe is for standard Morse taper, the most common large shank mouthpiece today.  This would make an excellent first pro level horn for any advancing player.

A factory new 88H sells in the $3000-3500 range today.  This one will not disappoint at our price point.
