CONN

Conn 88H SN R15946 Made in 1972, Abilene, TX.  This is a good playing 88H without any issues.  We did full shop service here including chemical bath.  No dents or dings, valve and slide are fine.  No additional service needed to improve playability.  Has classic 88H Bell 8.5" rose brass, with standard weight .547 bore handslide for large shank mouthpiece.  Is one of the most popular large bore tenor models of all time.  Rose brass plays dark and is ideal for Orchestra/Band.  The current model 88H by Conn today sells for over $3400 new.  This one has been around and played on quite a bit, but still works perfectly fine.  Has considerable lacquer wear on bell, tuning slide and handslide.  The handslide inner has one small spot of early plating loss, but does not hold back the slide action.  For most students moving up from a small starter trombone, the handslide will definitely be a great improvement, despite it's age and minor defect.  Includes a newer style Conn case, in good condition.  Priced to sell.
