Overview
This Conn 112H is a professional independent double-rotor bass trombone with a 10-inch rose brass bell and inline Bb/F/Gb/D valve configuration. It was approximately six to ten years old when offered and remained in excellent used condition.
The instrument received complete professional service in our shop, including chemical cleaning, rotor service, handslide inspection, and final adjustment. It played dark and easy, with the broad sound and comfortable response expected from a modern Conn bass trombone.

Independent Inline Rotor System
The Conn 112H uses two independent inline rotary valves in Bb/F/Gb/D. Each valve can be operated separately or combined, providing the low-register flexibility required for modern bass trombone literature.
The independent system makes it possible to approach alternate positions and low-register passages in several ways. It is an excellent configuration for an advancing bass trombonist learning to work with two valves, while still providing the capability needed by an experienced player.
Both rotors were professionally serviced and adjusted before the instrument was offered. The valve action was smooth, reliable, and ready for immediate use.
Rose Brass Bell and Playing Characteristics
The 10-inch rose brass bell gives the 112H a dark, broad tonal character. It has plenty of size and depth but remains easy to play, making it a practical choice for school ensembles, concert band, orchestra, brass ensemble, and general bass trombone work.
This particular instrument played very well throughout the register. The low range responded easily through both valves, while the open horn retained a stable and centered feel.
Condition and Complete Shop Service
This bass trombone was in excellent used condition and had no history of previous damage. The bell section was especially clean, with no evidence of major dents, creases, or structural repair.
The handslide had excellent alignment and no mechanical issues. The complete instrument received a chemical bath, rotor service, cleaning, inspection, and professional adjustment before being offered.
No additional service was required to improve its appearance or playability.
