Besson Compensating Euphonium Satin Silver 1970's Model Mint: made in England during the mid-1970s, serial number 565,XXX. This is a classic vintage model in mint condition, featuring the original two-tone satin silver finish with bright silver accents. The horn has an 11" bell flare, large shank mouthpiece receiver, and full compensating valve system β a hallmark of Besson design.
This euphonium has been professionally serviced in our shop, including a chemical bath, new felts, water key pads, and thorough internal cleaning. The result is a horn in excellent playing condition with smooth valve action and exceptional response. There has been no prior damage or repairs; this example was mostly closet-kept and preserved remarkably well over the decades. The tone is rich and dark, with excellent low-register support, making it a great choice for band, solo, or ensemble use. Comes with its original vintage case.
