This Bach Corporation Era 11 small shank trombone mouthpiece comes from an estate collection and is offered in like-new condition. It shows little evidence of use and has been professionally chemical cleaned and silver polished, leaving the rim, cup, and shank clean, true, and fully player ready.

The Bach 11 features a medium-wide rim diameter of approximately 24.70 mm paired with a deep cup. Compared to a standard C-cup mouthpiece, which typically produces a brighter and more immediate response, the deeper cup of the 11 delivers a fuller, broader, and more covered tonal character.

In terms of feel, the Bach 11 is very close in rim diameter to familiar sizes such as the Bach 7 or 7C, measuring approximately 24.70 mm, which is about 0.05 mm smaller than a typical 7 or 7C at roughly 24.75 mm. This makes the transition nearly seamless for many players while offering the deeper cup profile and richer tonal response of the 11.

Manufactured during the Elkhart Corporation Era, this mouthpiece reflects traditional hand-lathe production methods that many players continue to prefer over modern CNC manufacturing for their subtle feel and response characteristics.
