Excellent condition Bach 36LT medium bore (.525) tenor trombone from the early 1990s, serial number 114603. This instrument features an 8" yellow brass bell paired with a lightweight LT .525 bore nickel silver slide, delivering exceptional flexibility and a rich, centered sound.

This particular 36LT has been customized with a satin lacquer finish and received a professional slide setup by Kevin Stiles in Kansas City, a highly regarded brass technician known for top-level work. The result is a fantastic playing instrument β€” ideal for all-around use including band, small orchestra, church ensembles, or any setting where you want a slightly bigger, more resonant sound than classic smaller jazz models like a 2B, 3B, 6H, or GC-2.

The slide is in excellent condition, plays easily, and will not disappoint.

A custom satin finish is a popular modification that gives the horn a unique aesthetic while still protecting the brass underneath. Unlike factory standard gloss finishes, this custom satin process involves stripping the original lacquer completely, brushing the brass to fade the high polish, and then re-lacquering to preserve the look permanently. Different grades of abrasive pads or steel wool are used to achieve the desired matte effect. The end result is a durable, non-tarnishing finish that maintains its distinctive appearance over time.

Includes a Protec Pro Pac case in like-new condition.
