Bach

Bach 16M LT Corporation Era Model SN 35004 Made in the late 1970's in Elkhart, IN.  Not many Bach 16's had factory silver plate, this one is gorgeous.  The horn does not appear to have had heavy use either.  We did full shop service, including chemical bath and slide tweaking.  It plays fantastic.  Has 7.5" Yellow Brass Bell Silver Plated with LT nickel slide, straight bore .508, also silver plated.  Is one of the most gorgeous Bach small bores that we have seen since the beginning of The Brass Exchange 13 years ago.  Comes with a Bach European/Japan style case in perfect condition.  Note that there is a small patch of plating loss on one of the inner slide tubes, but it does not appear to be from damage or repair, but rather a factory defect.  Yet, it is still smooth and does not hold back the action on this slide.  I have no hesitation in recommending this horn to any player, and don't feel that the plating will worsen over time.  Once you see this horn and play it, you will understand.  Perfect for Jazz, Lead, Rock, Commercial, Big Band, ect.  I even know a few pro orchestra players that use 16's on pops programs.
