Overview
This Yamaha YBL-830 was a single-owner professional bass trombone in exceptional condition. It showed minimal evidence of previous use and was about as close to new as a pre-owned instrument could reasonably be.
The YBL-830 features an independent valve configuration with Bb/F/Gb/D tuning, a 9½-inch yellow brass bell and a straight .562-inch bore handslide. The standard-weight slide has yellow brass outer tubes and nickel silver inner tubes.
This instrument had never been damaged or repaired. There was no notable lacquer wear, the handslide action was fantastic, and both valves performed flawlessly. It had been carefully evaluated and was fully player ready.
