Overview
This S.E. Shires Q33 was previously offered by The Brass Exchange as a lightly used, open-box instrument from 2026 factory stock. It has since been sold.
The Q33 is a .508-inch bore straight trombone designed for jazz, commercial, solo, and crossover playing. Its 8-inch yellow brass bell and lightweight nickel-silver handslide provide quick response, secure slotting, and familiar small-bore playing dimensions.
Condition at Time of Sale
The instrument was in excellent, lightly used condition and had been professionally inspected, play-tested, and prepared by The Brass Exchange.
Additional time was spent aligning and setting up the handslide. It was exceptionally smooth and fully player-ready at the time of sale, with no additional service required before use.
